Cove Waikiki was developed by Waikiki Palms LP whose partners have experience with the Vangaurd Lofts in Kakaako and The Windsor condominiums that shares the same city block. Scheduled for a 2014 completion, the three residential buildings in Cove Waikiki replace a series of deteriorating apartment buildings from the 40’s and are a welcome change for the neighborhood.

The Cove Waikiki is a good description of this quiet street surrounded by tall condominium towers. Kaioo drive is a small one way loop lined with public parking. This quiet and shady location is ideal for those looking to live closer to the ground level.

The buildings are a hybrid construction with a poured concrete structure for the secured parking garage and lobby area while the residences above the parking garage are wood framed. There are three buildings in the project, named A, B and C. The A building has 4 levels of residences and one parking level. Buildings B and C have 3 levels of residences above 2 levels of parking and are connected by a walkway.
