Commentary - Ilikai Apartments:
Popularized by the opening credits of the Hawaii 5-0 TV show, the Ilikai is a favorite of locals and visitors alike. Directly fronting the Ala Wai Boat Harbor, the Ilikai Apartment Building offers easy access to the boat docks and yacht clubs. Next-door is the Hilton Hawaiian village.
The lobby, pool and recreation areas of the building have been completely remodeled. They are very open and luxurious and are comparable to the major waterfront hotels in Waikiki.

The Ilikai is one of a handful of buildings in Waikiki that allows short term rentals. While there are is no true hotel program, there are several companies that provide vacation rental management for the building, such as WaikikiOceanfrontRentals.com.
